Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care / Newborn Support
Location: Canton, GA 30115
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:15 PM (Varies)
Pay Rate: $43 – $48 per hour
Note: No local candidates within 50 miles.
Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU or neonatal care
BLS certification required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
IV start experience required
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care for newborns requiring additional monitoring and support but who do not require full NICU admission. The RN will assist with stabilizing infants who fall into the transitional care category and require close observation.
Monitor and assess newborns requiring transitional or intermediate care
Assist with stabilization and observation of infants with mild to moderate complications
Initiate IV lines and administer medications as ordered
Monitor feeding, thermoregulation, and respiratory status
Collaborate with the neonatal care team to ensure quality patient care
Educate and support families regarding newborn care and treatment plans
Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols
