Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – LTC
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Job Type: Contract (Travel Assignment Only)
Pay Rate: $50 – $58 per hour
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Shift:
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Occasional Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required
Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
Collect specimens for lab testing (urine, blood, sputum)
Provide treatments including wound care, catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, and dressing changes
Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation
Transcribe physician orders and update treatment plans
Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
Supervise and guide nursing assistants during shifts
Communicate with physicians, residents, and families regarding care plans
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Active Massachusetts (MA) LPN License
BLS / CPR / AED Certification required
Experience working in Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical job requirements
