Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CVICU
Location: Gastonia, NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Pay Rate: $45 – $53 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized critical care for cardiovascular patients in a high-acuity intensive care environment. The RN will deliver safe, high-quality patient care during the night shift while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to CVICU patients, including those recovering from cardiac surgery and individuals with critical cardiac conditions.
Continuously monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrated drips according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
Perform detailed patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions based on CVICU standards.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in rapid response and code situations when necessary.
Follow infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality protocols at all times.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a Compact RN License.
Minimum 1–2 years of recent CVICU experience.
Strong knowledge of critical care nursing, cardiac monitoring, and ICU protocols.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
