Shift Schedule: Rotating Shifts (No Weekends or Holidays)
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia care providers in a fast-paced Operating Room environment. This role is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and managing anesthesia equipment and supplies to ensure efficient surgical operations and high-quality patient care. The technician will work closely with anesthesia staff and surgical teams to maintain readiness of equipment and supplies throughout the department.
Assist anesthesia care providers with the preparation, setup, and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
Stock anesthesia carts, warming cabinets, and anesthesia workrooms at scheduled intervals to ensure adequate supply levels.
Maintain and restock anesthesia-related supplies within Labor and Delivery units.
Prepare and set up equipment for scheduled surgical cases including breathing circuits, filters, suction devices, EKG pads, IV fluids, and pediatric anesthesia equipment.
Manage specialized equipment such as hypothermia blankets, Bair Hugger systems, and blood warmers.
Replace sharps containers and ensure proper waste management practices are followed.
Respond promptly to requests from anesthesia personnel and provide assistance during procedures when needed.
Support Operating Room operations by assisting with Operating Room Assistant (ORA) duties when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe anesthesia work environment in accordance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily departmental operations.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) or anesthesia-related experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
