Hourly Pay: $30.60 – $45.90 (Based on experience)
Mid-point (8 years): $38.25
Max (17+ years): $45.90
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Night Shift)
Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr for Nights | $3.00/hr for Weekends
As a MICU RN, you will provide comprehensive, individualized care for patients with life-threatening medical conditions. Using the “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage” model, you will act as a primary advocate for patients and families while independently managing complex treatments.
Advanced Monitoring: Perform high-frequency monitoring and procedures for critically ill patients, ensuring meticulous documentation.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with providers to create and deliver holistic treatment plans that promote recovery and stabilization.
Patient & Family Education: Translate complex medical information to help patients and families understand conditions, medications, and potential side effects.
Prevention & Advocacy: Teach disease prevention and lifestyle modifications to support long-term patient well-being.
Quality Improvement: Contribute to evidence-based practices and initiatives that exceed unit quality measures.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years). Strong Med/Surg experience considered for those interested in critical care.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Licensure: Valid Florida RN license or Compact/Multistate license (must obtain FL license if relocating).
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire
ACLS within 90 days of hire
