Position: Registered Nurse - School
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 3x7.5 Hours (7:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | 22.5 hours per week
Pay: $30 to $38/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - School for an exciting Travel or Local job in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily nursing care to students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
• Deliver one-on-one care for a student with a tracheostomy, including frequent suctioning and airway management.
• Monitor and assess students’ health status and respond promptly to medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student care.
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure student safety.
• Follow infection control protocols and school health guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina RN License required.
• Experience caring for students with tracheostomies.
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
