Job Title: Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist 

Location: Greenwood Village, CO, United States
Duration: 8+ Weeks (with possibility of extension)

Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Lunch: 1:00–1:30 PM)

  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM


Position Overview

A healthcare organization in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist  to support both front-office and back-office clinical operations. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can assist with patient care, administrative duties, and clinical procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and room patients in a professional and compassionate manner

  • Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls

  • Record patient vitals and medical histories

  • Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures

  • Administer vaccines and assist with point-of-care (POC) testing

  • Conduct EKGs as required

  • Provide clinical and administrative support across front and back office functions

  • Maintain accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

  • Collaborate effectively with providers and center staff to ensure high-quality patient care


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)

  • Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

  • Occupational Health experience strongly preferred

  • Proven experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture

  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

  • Strong attention to detail and effective patient communication skills

  • Solid computer proficiency


Must-Have Skills

  • Front and back office experience

  • Phlebotomy

  • EKG

  • Point-of-care (POC) testing

  • Scheduling and appointment coordination

  • Patient rooming and vital sign collection

  • BLS or CPR certification
