Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Arlington, TX
Duration: 15 Weeks
Schedule: Days | 8-Hour Shifts | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $40 – $48 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and administering radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging results.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners.
Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Accurately document patient information, imaging data, and procedural results.
Educate patients on nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety measures.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental protocols.
Perform routine quality control and maintenance checks on equipment.
Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (e.g., NMTCB or ARRT-N).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
