Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (LDRP) – Contract

Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Holidays: 3 per Contract

Pay Rates

• Travel Nurses: $75 per hour

• Local Nurses: $63 per hour

Unit Overview

This is a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit. Nurses must be comfortable working across:

• Labor & Delivery

• Postpartum

• Antepartum

• Newborn Nursery

Assignments are based on patient needs, and flexibility within the LDRP model is required.

Job Summary

The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating maternal and newborn patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards and evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess obstetric and postpartum patients

• Assist physicians during labor and delivery

• Provide newborn care and stabilization

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions

• Document care accurately and timely

• Support patient education and family-centered care

• Maintain compliance with clinical and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact License

• BLS (AHA)

• NRP Certification

• Minimum 1+ year of L&D experience

  • 3 years preferred per unit expectations

• ASN required (BSN preferred)

Preferred Certifications & Experience

• ACLS

• Advanced AWHONN or EFM

• 5+ years of L&D experience preferred
