Compensation:
Hourly: $34 – $48 per hour (maximum rate considered for 18+ years of experience)
Annual: $63,648 – $89,856 (maximum rate considered for 18+ years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

On-Call Requirement: None (dedicated call team in place)
This role is based at a large, 585+ bed acute care hospital providing a full spectrum of medical and specialty services. The facility is recognized for advanced clinical capabilities, including:
Level I Trauma Services
Primary Stroke Program
Chest Pain Services
Comprehensive Breast Care
Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Programs
Women’s Services, including obstetrics and fertility care
The OR Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, patient-centered perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment. This position requires recent operating room experience, including circulating and/or scrub responsibilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary surgical team.
Self/preferential scheduling is available and posted four weeks in advance to promote work-life balance and schedule predictability.
Perform preoperative patient assessments
Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and perioperative care
Prepare patients for surgery, including IV therapy, medication administration, and surgical site verification
Participate in surgical time-outs, debriefings, and universal protocols
Identify and respond to patient emergencies
Deliver evidence-based, high-quality perioperative nursing care
Monitor and document patient condition throughout surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members
Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, and clinical judgment to ensure safe patient outcomes
Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience (scrub and/or circulating)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
RN Diploma or equivalent nursing education
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Adaptability and sound clinical judgment
