Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 Hours per Week
Hourly Rate: $78.77/hour
Total Weekly Gross: $2,717.57
Weekly Stipend: $1,855.07
(Compensation package may vary depending on benefits and stipends.)
A leading acute care hospital in New York City is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular / Open Heart ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract. This role supports high-acuity cardiac and post-operative open-heart patients in a critical care setting.
The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience, advanced clinical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular / Open Heart ICU setting
Monitor and manage critically ill cardiac patients
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy
Administer and monitor conscious sedation as appropriate
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient assessments and interventions
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care experience
Experience with:
IV insertion
Phlebotomy
Conscious sedation
Active RN license (New York State)
Current BLS or CPR certification
