  • Pay Range: $90,900 – $136,200 annually (based on years of experience)

Position Summary

A well-established acute care hospital in the Hendersonville, TN area is seeking an experienced OR Nurse Manager to lead Surgical Services. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staffing, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance within the Operating Room department.

The Nurse Manager ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting evidence-based practices, operational efficiency, and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for daily Surgical Services operations

  • Operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes

  • Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and standards

  • Manage all staffing functions including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training

  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels to ensure safe and efficient workflow

  • Oversee patient care delivery and provide clinical guidance to staff

  • Ensure compliance with department-specific competency standards

  • Coordinate unit activities including safety protocols, departmental goals, and operational initiatives

  • Address patient, physician, and visitor concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for team members

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to improve patient care delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact State required

  • Minimum 1 year of related clinical experience required

  • Prior clinical leadership experience required (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Lead experience considered)

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
