Job Title: Retail Logistics Coordinator

Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Pay Rate: $30/hour (W2)


Position Summary

The Retail Logistics Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to a product transition and lifecycle management team. This role is responsible for supporting product disposition processes, including SKU maintenance, coding accuracy, compliance tracking, and coordination of logistics activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail operations environment.


Key Responsibilities

SKU & Product Maintenance

  • Ensure product add/delete documentation is completed accurately with appropriate disposition details

  • Maintain and update SKU disposition at both brand and item levels within internal systems

  • Apply disposition codes and markdown updates per category or buyer direction

Operational Support

  • Provide administrative and operational support for category transitions

  • Communicate status updates clearly to operations and cross-functional partners

  • Identify issues, troubleshoot discrepancies, and assist with root cause analysis

Logistics & Inventory Coordination

  • Initiate return-to-vendor (RTV) and disposition-in-field (DIF) processes

  • Coordinate with vendors or internal partners to obtain authorization numbers

  • Execute clearance and markdown schedules as assigned


Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant administrative, logistics, or retail operations experience preferred

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required

  • Experience with analytics and enterprise systems (ERP, reporting tools, dashboards) is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset

  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
