Medium-security male correctional facility
Multiple vendors may be awarded
All shifts/hours may be available

The Correctional RN provides direct and indirect patient care within a secure correctional environment. This role requires strong assessment skills, medication administration experience, and the ability to respond to emergencies while maintaining safety and security protocols.
Conduct sick call and triage inmate health complaints
Administer medications, including insulin
Perform intake screenings and health assessments
Maintain and update inmate health records
Respond to medical emergencies (Narcan administration, asthma rescue, trauma, physical force injuries)
Handle emergency room referrals when appropriate
Complete screening and reporting requirements, including sexual abuse/assault documentation
Provide care for employee accidents/injuries
Support administrative processes related to inmate death
Maintain tool control and adhere to correctional security protocols
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Correctional or high-acuity nursing experience preferred
Strong triage and emergency response skills
Ability to work within a structured, secure environment
