Mon, Wed, Fri: 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Tue, Thu: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide both front- and back-office clinical support. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical procedures, and administrative responsibilities to support daily operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Maintaining a collaborative and professional relationship with staff and patients is essential for success in this role.
Greet, room, and assist patients during clinic visits
Take and document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and point-of-care (POC) testing
Administer vaccines and assist with clinical procedures
Perform EKGs as required
Schedule appointments and manage phone communications
Support both front-office and back-office operations
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Provide general clinical and administrative support as needed
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Certifications
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
BLS or CPR certification required
Technical & Clinical Skills
Front- and back-office experience
Phlebotomy / venipuncture
EKG
Point-of-care (POC) testing
Patient rooming and vital signs
Scheduling and phone support
EMR proficiency
Additional Skills
