Local Pay: $37 – $42 per hour
Travel Pay: $47 – $52 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Medical/Surgical unit specializing in Surgery and Trauma care. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, the ability to manage complex cases, and experience working in fast-paced hospital environments.
This unit cares for medically complex and trauma patients requiring advanced nursing assessment and intervention.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity Med/Surg and trauma patients
Perform detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Monitor and manage patients with spinal, neuro, and surgical trauma conditions
Care for patients with gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and wound care treatments
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to clinical changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, surgeons, and specialists
Accurately document all patient care in EPIC EMR system
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
Respond effectively in emergency situations following BLS/ACLS guidelines
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical (high acuity preferred)
Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
BLS required
ACLS preferred
EPIC experience required (must be clearly noted in profile)
Must be willing to work assigned shifts (no block scheduling)
No RTO (Request for Time Off) during the assignment
