Weekly Hours: 48 Hours (Overtime applies after 48 hours)
Compensation:
Local Pay: $37 – $42 per hour
Travel Pay: $47 – $52 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience for an 8-week contract assignment in Atlanta, GA.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
Administer medications, including high-alert and titratable drips such as Heparin, in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Perform detailed patient assessments and document findings accurately in EPIC EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, physical therapists, and case management
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Safely operate and assist patients with specialty equipment including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT equipment
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid changes in patient condition
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum documented MedSurg/Telemetry experience (required)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with EPIC EMR
Completed skills checklist
No requested time off (RTO) during assignment
Experience in Skilled Nursing or Rehabilitation settings
Prior NICHE training (Geriatric-focused care)
