Position Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – Child CPEP
Location: New York, NY 10016
Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Rotating 4x10-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)
Pay Rate: $56.00 – $58.00 per hour

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – Child CPEP for an exciting job in New York, NY.
4x10-hour rotating shifts per week
36 hours per week
Rotating weekends required
Shift options:
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for children and adolescents in psychiatric crisis.
Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services in a hospital emergency setting.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop treatment and discharge plans.
Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and families.
Coordinate referrals to inpatient, outpatient, and community-based behavioral health services.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and New York State regulations.
Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and team meetings.
Required:
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW).
Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by New York State (primary source verification required).
Minimum one (1) year of LMSW experience.
Experience working with children and adolescents.
Prior hospital experience required.
Preferred:
Experience in psychiatric emergency or CPEP settings.
Strong crisis intervention and behavioral health assessment skills.
