Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Location: Lake City, Florida
Full-Time | Permanent
Shift: 7–12 Hour Shifts | Nights or Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
Pay: $30.60 – $45.90 per hour (Based on Experience)
Night Differential: +$4.25/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights)
Relocation Assistance: Available (Case-by-Case)
The Emergency Room RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. This role involves coordinating and delivering comprehensive nursing care that aligns with departmental protocols, regulatory standards, and clinical best practices.
Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, the RN ensures safe, efficient, and compassionate care while advocating for patients and their families.
Assess patient conditions, including pain levels, and provide timely interventions and reassessments
Perform ordered procedures and monitor patient responses
Document patient care accurately in medical records
Respond promptly to patient needs and anticipate potential complications
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and follow-up care
Support safe care transitions and patient self-management
Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Emergency Room RN experience required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 30 days of start
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 30 days of start
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 30 days of start
