Job Title: Local / Travel LPN – Long Term Care
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift Options:
Nights: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Days: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend Required
Pay Rate: $32 – $44 per Hour (Based on Experience & Local/Travel Status)
Radius Rule: 75-Mile Radius Rule Applies (Local Rate for Candidates Within 75 Miles)
A well-established long-term care facility in the Utica area is seeking a dedicated Local or Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to residents while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
This position requires flexibility to float between units within the same building.
40-Bed Unit
Patient Populations: Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Orthopedic, Dementia, and Memory Care
EMR System: PointClickCare
Provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Monitor and document patient conditions and changes
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations
Active New York LPN License
Minimum 1+ Year of LPN Experience (Long-Term Care Preferred)
BLS Certification (Active)
Ability to float to all units within the facility
Strong communication and teamwork skills
