Occupational Therapist (OT) – School Based
Location: Ashburn, VA
Duration: 14 Weeks (March 15 – End of School Year)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:50 AM – 3:40 PM
Hours: 40 Hours per Week (Guaranteed)
Pay Rate: $48.00 – $52.00 per Hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based contract opportunity in Ashburn, VA. This role will support multiple school locations (West region) and requires flexibility to float between sites as needed.
The selected candidate will play a key role in helping students develop the skills necessary for academic achievement and daily functional success.
Provide occupational therapy services in alignment with students’ IEP goals
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as required
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional school skills
Travel between assigned school locations as needed
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Virginia OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
NBCOT certification preferred
Prior school-based experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Flexibility to support multiple school sites
