Job Title: Nurse Manager – Med-Surg (Full-Time, Days)
Location: Irving, TX (Las Colinas Area)
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (No Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Salary Range: $40.79 – $61.19 per hour (Based on Experience)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nurse Manager – Med-Surg to provide 24/7 leadership oversight for a busy acute care department. This leadership role is responsible for aligning departmental operations with organizational goals while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care, staff development, clinical excellence, and financial stewardship.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Med-Surg RN with strong leadership capabilities. Experienced Nurse Managers are encouraged to apply, as well as high-performing Charge Nurses (CNC) ready to transition into a management role.

Operational Leadership
Oversee daily departmental operations including staffing, scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations
Ensure efficient resource utilization and budget management
Staff Development & Coaching
Lead hiring, onboarding, counseling, and mentoring initiatives
Promote professional growth and ensure ongoing competency validation
Strategic & Clinical Excellence
Align department goals with organizational strategy
Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance
Relationship Management
Foster strong partnerships with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Promote a collaborative and positive work culture
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
Licensure: Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC) in good standing
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care Med-Surg experience (Required)
Prior Nurse Manager/Department Director experience preferred
Strong Charge Nurse experience with leadership readiness will be considered
