Location: Lawrenceville, GA & Atlanta, GA
Facility: Northside Hospital
Duration: 13–14 Weeks
Compensation: $1,641.96 – $1,857.96 Weekly Gross

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care across hospital settings. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing critically ill patients and confident working in both routine and emergency respiratory situations.

Schedule

• 36 Hours per Week

• Days or Nights Available

• Weekend Shift Option Available

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ respiratory status through medical history review, physical examination, and diagnostic testing (e.g., ABGs, pulmonary function tests).

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized respiratory care plans.

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and additional respiratory treatments.

• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators for patients experiencing respiratory failure.

• Perform airway management, including intubation support and suctioning.

• Respond to emergency situations, perform CPR, and assist during code events.

• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care techniques and disease management strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience.

• RRT Certification (NBRC).

• BLS (AHA).

• ACLS (AHA).

• PALS (AHA).
