Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (LDRP)

Location - Neptune, NJ

Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with comprehensive patient care. This position practices within an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) model and may be assigned to labor, postpartum, antepartum, or nursery based on unit needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs

• Identify patient priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation

• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments

• Initiate assessments based on patient condition, medical diagnosis, and functional health framework

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions

• Manage comprehensive patient care across LDRP settings

• Document care in accordance with standards of practice and patient acuity

• Support evidence-based practice and innovation in care delivery

• Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models

• Perform other duties as assigned

Unit Overview:

• LDRP Model (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)

• May receive assignments in:

  • Labor

  • Postpartum

  • Antepartum

  • Nursery

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in related specialty

• Required Years of Experience: 3

• Preferred Years of Experience: 5

Education:

• Required: ASN

• Preferred: BSN

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS (AHA)

• Active NJ State RN License or Multi-State Compact License

• NRP

Preferred Certifications:

• ACLS

• Advanced AWHONN or EFM
