Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting

Schedule: Day Shift | 5x7.5-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Duration: 16 Weeks
Pay Rate: $57–$62 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 16-week school-based contract assignment in the Colorado Springs, CO area. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment supporting students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
Provide evidence-based therapy services to improve communication skills and functional outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support student success.
Educate families and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home-based strategies.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and recommendations.
Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as appropriate.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, district policies, and professional standards.
Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the clinical supervisor.
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current Colorado State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or CFY eligible.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, assessment tools, and evidence-based practices.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical or school-based experience preferred.
Experience in pediatric or educational settings strongly preferred.
