Position Overview

An established national healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Strategic Marketing to lead enterprise-level marketing strategy aligned with healthcare supply chain and operational performance initiatives.

This leadership role supports large-scale hospital systems and healthcare facilities by developing value-driven messaging and growth strategies that enhance operational efficiency, cost reduction, and overall system performance.

The Director will partner closely with supply chain leadership, operations teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives directly support system-wide objectives and patient care excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans targeting hospitals and integrated healthcare systems

  • Create value-based messaging tailored to pharmaceutical and medical device audiences

  • Align marketing initiatives with enterprise supply chain and operational strategies

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and executive leadership teams

  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and healthcare purchasing behaviors

  • Drive engagement initiatives that increase facility participation and improve cost-efficiency outcomes

  • Lead enterprise-level, cross-functional marketing campaigns tied to organizational growth objectives

  • Present strategic plans and performance results to senior leadership and healthcare stakeholders

  • Monitor KPIs and optimize marketing performance through data-driven insights


Required Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience supporting healthcare facilities or hospital systems

  • Direct experience within pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries (required)

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives for hospital systems

  • Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain operations and purchasing structures

  • Proven leadership experience within enterprise-level marketing environments

  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills

  • Ability to interpret complex market data and translate insights into actionable strategies
