Radiation Therapist – Outpatient Cancer Center

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $55–$59/hr
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist (RTT) for a 13-week assignment in an outpatient cancer center. This role involves delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients using state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced oncology environment. The center operates multiple linear accelerators and a CT simulator, managing a high patient volume under physician supervision.
Responsibilities:
Administer radiation treatments accurately and safely according to physician prescriptions and protocols.
Operate linear accelerators and CT simulators for treatment planning and delivery.
Verify patient setup and treatment parameters using imaging guidance.
Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records in ARIA and EPIC.
Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses, and other oncology staff to ensure high-quality care.
Educate and support patients regarding their treatment plans and procedures.
Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
Participate in quality assurance, equipment checks, and departmental meetings as required.
Qualifications:
ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist (RTT) required.
Degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
Experience in outpatient radiation oncology preferred.
Proficiency in ARIA and EPIC systems preferred.
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient positioning.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently in a high-volume clinical environment.
