Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics
Location: Bronx, NY
Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks (No Extension)
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Compensation: $2,863 per week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week contract assignment at a large acute care facility in the Bronx, NY. This role focuses on providing high-quality pre-operative and post-operative pediatric care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
This is a contract-only assignment with no extension option.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for pediatric patients
Provide bedside nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV therapy
Monitor vital signs and telemetry equipment
Educate patients and families on procedures, post-operative care, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
Follow infection control policies and hospital safety standards
Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in Med/Surg or Rehab within a large acute care hospital
Strong skills in physical assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care
Experience with post-operative care and telemetry monitoring
Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Active New York RN License (Primary Source Verification required)
Current AHA BLS certification
EPIC EMR experience preferred
