Compensation & Incentives

  • Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $42.00 (based on years of experience)

  • Night Differential: $4.75/hour

  • Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour

  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (paid in 6-month increments)

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Summary

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols

  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and records

  • Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge planning

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards


Qualifications

Required

  • Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license

    • Compact license holders must obtain Florida RN license within 90 days of hire

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required

  • Acute care nursing experience required

    • No recent LTAC-only experience accepted

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification

    • Must be obtained within 30 days of start date if not active

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directions

  • Basic computer proficiency

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
