CT Technologist I

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist I to join a growing imaging team at a leading acute care medical center in Hillsborough, NC. This role is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have successfully completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program and meet all certification requirements.

Schedule Options

Two shift options available

Option 1:

• Friday – Sunday | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Option 2:

• Tuesday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures according to physician orders

• Ensure patient safety and proper positioning

• Operate CT imaging equipment and maintain quality standards

• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records

• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams

Required Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR registry eligible

  • Registry eligible candidates must provide diploma from accredited program

• Advanced certification in CT (required)

• Must obtain registry within one year of employment (if eligible)

• Maintain active registry status and continuing education requirements

• Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) BLS certification required
