Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Special Procedures Technologist for the Interventional Radiology department. This is an 8-hour day shift position with required call. First-time travelers are accepted.

Note: No previous permanent staff candidates will be considered.

Schedule

• 8-Hour Days: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Call Required

Required Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (R)

• BLS

• CCI – RCIS

• Rhode Island State License (Required)

Clinical Experience & Skills Required

Procedural Skills

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias

• Laser-assisted procedures

• Scrub procedures

• Room circulator responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field

• Equipment setup

• Endovascular interventions

• Vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)

Interventional & Angiography Procedures

• Adrenal angiography

• Angiography of the genitourinary system

• Renal angiography

• Renal artery stent placement

• Ureteral stent placement

• Uterine arterial embolization

• Embolization procedures

• Cholecystostomy

• Cystoscopy

• Gastrostomy

• Nephrostomy

Experience Preferences

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Teaching hospital experience preferred

• Community hospital experience preferred
