Job Title: Systems Analyst – C. Advanced

Duration: 4 Months (Possible Extension)
Seeking a senior-level Systems Analyst to support the Office of Information Technology as a lead developer and subject matter expert. This role will focus on large-scale financial systems, business process analysis, application development, and modernization efforts tied to ongoing business transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities, ensuring development standards are followed while delivering scalable, high-quality enterprise solutions.
Serve as Lead Developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert for applications supporting complex financial business processes
Ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions across cross-functional projects
Provide mentorship and guidance to developers and technical staff
Ensure adherence to software development standards and best practices
Analyze financial systems and dependent business processes to identify efficiency improvements
Assist with business process redesign and re-engineering efforts
Oversee development, maintenance, testing, and production deployment activities
Guide Quality Assurance through code lifecycle (development → integration → staging → production)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
Collaborate with distributed teams to ensure consistent communication and delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, roadmaps, and technical standards
Stay current on emerging technologies and development methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
(Equivalent work experience may be considered)
7+ years as a Lead Developer or Development Manager
5+ years working with relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar)
Extensive experience developing and maintaining systems supporting complex financial business processes
Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET
Experience with ORMs including Entity Framework and n-Hibernate
Experience creating SQL, Power BI, and SSRS reports
Strong SQL proficiency and relational database design knowledge
Knowledge of .NET application architecture
Experience with large cross-functional enterprise applications
Understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools
Experience conducting systems analysis and translating user requirements into technical solutions
Familiarity with industry best practices and continuous improvement models
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
