Specializes in acute stroke and neurological disorders
Cares for acute medical patients
Practices adjustable acuity delivery model
Focused on evidence-based stroke care across prevention and acute phases
Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:7
Must be comfortable managing full MedSurg assignment on nights
Floating may be required within skillset
Minimum 1 year of experience
Active New York RN License (required at submission)
BLS (required)
ACLS (required)
NIH Stroke Certification (required)
EPIC charting experience (required)
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Rapid Response and Code Team activation
IV Therapy / Phlebotomy
Peripheral IV line care and management
Respiratory Care
Nasal cannula
Oxygen face masks
Portable oxygen tanks
Non-invasive airway management
Professional Practice
Isolation precautions
