Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist

📍 Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota 55407
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shifts Available:

• Days: 5x8-Hour (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)

• Mid Shift: 5x8-Hour (2:45 PM – 11:15 PM)

💰 Travel Pay: $2,280 – $2,520 Weekly Gross
📏 Radius Rule: 100-mile radius applies

Position Overview

A leading tertiary-care hospital in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment. This role supports high-acuity cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment.

First-time travelers are welcome, provided they meet case experience requirements.

Required CVOR Case Experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following procedures:

• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Repair

• Atrial Septal Defect Repair

• Carotid Endarterectomy

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)

• Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)

• Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft

• Mitral Valve Replacement

• Pericardial Window

• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

• Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR)

• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)

• ECMO

Required Surgical Case Types

Cardiac Surgery Experience:

• CABG (on and off pump)

• Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)

• Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement (MVRR)

• Tricuspid Valve Repair/Replacement (TVRR)

• Aortic aneurysm/dissection

• Total artificial heart

• Heart transplant

• LVAD implantation

• Minimally invasive valve replacement

• Transcatheter valve replacements (mitral, aortic, tricuspid)

Vascular Surgery Experience:

• Open and endovascular AAA repair

• Thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysms (including fenestrated grafts)

• Endarterectomy

• Peripheral artery disease bypass procedures

• Amputation procedures

• ECMO decannulation and repositioning

Preferred Experience

• General Surgery

• Endoscopic/Laparoscopic procedures

• Vascular

• Thoracic

• Bariatric

• Transplant

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience

• First-time travelers accepted

• National Certification required: NBSTSA or NCCT

• BLS Certification required
