Job Title: Physical Therapist – Rehabilitation (Adult & Pediatric)

Location: Orleans, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $55 – $60 per hour


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services for both adult and pediatric patients in a clinical setting. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement medically prescribed therapy programs focused on restoring function, preventing disability, and improving overall quality of life.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and establish measurable, functional goals

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings

  • Perform diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional assessments

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Maintain accurate, objective, and timely clinical documentation

  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care programs

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding treatment progress and discharge planning

  • Provide supervision and direction to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), aides, and students

  • Support onboarding and training initiatives as requested

  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, quality standards, and safety protocols

  • Maintain accurate patient activity logs and billing records

  • Perform additional related duties as assigned


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy License

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to treat both adult and pediatric populations
