License Requirement: Active New York RN License (NY is not compact)
13-week assignment
EPIC charting experience required
RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission
Facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for adult acute care patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical management. Specific unit assignment provided at time of offer.
Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:7
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Rapid Response and Code Team activation
IV Therapy / Phlebotomy
Peripheral IV line care and management
Respiratory Care
Nasal cannula
Oxygen administration (face masks/tanks)
Non-invasive airway management
Professional Practice
Isolation precautions
Infection control standards
Active New York State RN License (no pending licenses accepted)
BLS Certification
Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
Ability to float within skillset as needed
