Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Engineer to support a large-scale Business Diversity Software implementation. This role partners closely with a Senior Technical Lead, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure reliable delivery, seamless integration, security compliance, and operational stability of the platform.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on technical expertise, cloud architecture experience, and the ability to support a hybrid solution leveraging custom development and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery & Support

  • Ensure reliable technology delivery and operational stability of a business diversity software solution

  • Collaborate with technical leadership and development teams to provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance

  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues during development, testing, deployment, and post-production support

  • Assist with configuration, customization, and integration of COTS solutions

  • Design and implement solutions combining custom development and SaaS platforms

Hands-On Engineering

  • Provide hands-on support including writing and reviewing code as needed

  • Configure SaaS platforms and supporting infrastructure

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

  • Build automation pipelines and system integrations

  • Submit and manage technical requests such as:

    • Build of Materials (BOM)

    • Firewall rule updates

    • Security and infrastructure changes

Security & Compliance

  • Partner with internal security teams to ensure compliance throughout the development lifecycle

  • Ensure adherence to legal, technological, and operational standards

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential technical roadblocks

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with both technical and business stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and risks

  • Provide ongoing technical support to internal teams and stakeholders

  • Maintain a strong understanding of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables


Mandatory Skills & Experience

Candidates must meet all mandatory requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, technical architecture, or technical leadership roles

  • Experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms, such as:

    • CRM, workflow, or enterprise service management tools

  • Hands-on experience with at least one programming language:

    • Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, or Go

  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based architectures with hands-on experience using Azure or AWS

  • Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred)

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

DevOps

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as:

    • Azure DevOps, Jenkins, JIRA

  • Demonstrated experience building CI/CD automation pipelines

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Project & Organizational Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently

  • Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment


Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience analyzing and interpreting business policies and procedures

  • Ability to document non-functional requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Experience with business diversity, compliance, or government-related systems

  • Familiarity with business diversity management platforms or similar solutions
