"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a Digital Accessibility Specialist to support an enterprise-wide accessibility initiative. This role focuses on evaluating, testing, remediating, and creating accessible digital content to ensure compliance with applicable digital accessibility regulations and standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools, assistive technologies, and remediation best practices.
Evaluate and remediate digital documents, including PDFs, forms, and other digital formats, to meet accessibility guidelines and standards
Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing to verify compliance
Perform accessibility testing using keyboard-only navigation, screen readers, and other assistive technologies
Utilize automated accessibility testing tools and manual testing methodologies
Clearly document testing processes, remediation steps, and results
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support accessibility goals
Perform related duties as required
2+ years of experience in digital accessibility testing, remediation, and digital content creation
Strong knowledge of digital accessibility principles and disability inclusion
Understanding of WCAG (current version) and Revised Section 508 Standards
Experience testing web and digital content using accessibility evaluation tools for mobile and non-mobile platforms
Hands-on experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS, VoiceOver, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, ZoomText, and color contrast analyzers
Experience using automated accessibility testing tools
Ability to independently develop test plans, document test strategies, results, and remediation recommendations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
Associate degree (2-year college) or equivalent technical training
Section 508 Trusted Tester Certification
Accessible Technology Certified Professional (ATCP)
Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
Web Accessibility Specialist (HTML, JavaScript, WCAG)
Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA)
PDF Accessibility Essentials (Adobe Experience League)
Certified Document Remediation Specialist (508 Institute)
