A reputable outpatient rehabilitation center in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its therapy team. This role focuses on helping patients improve functional abilities, enhance independence, and achieve meaningful daily living and work-related goals through individualized care plans.
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living and functional performance
Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and treatment outcomes
Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, treatment plans, and home exercise programs
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
