Location: Dallas, TX
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 8 Hours
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $48–$52 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a high-volume Level I Trauma Center in Dallas, TX. This role supports advanced cardiovascular and endovascular surgical services in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate has strong open heart, vascular, and endovascular experience and excels in collaborative surgical teams.
Assist surgeons during open heart, cardiovascular, vascular, and endovascular procedures
Prepare, maintain, and monitor a sterile surgical field
Anticipate surgical needs and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment
Perform accurate surgical counts and uphold patient safety standards
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing, anesthesia, and OR staff
Handle specialized CVOR equipment and supplies
Participate in on-call rotations, including holidays
Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience (recent experience within the last 6 months required)
Strong experience in Open Heart, Vascular, and Endovascular procedures (required)
Level I Trauma Center experience (required)
Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
BLS certification
Ability to perform efficiently in a high-volume OR environment
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
