Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Shift: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Pay Rate: $58–$62/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate computed tomography (CT) equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strict standards for patient safety, comfort, and imaging accuracy to support radiologist interpretation.
Verify patient identity using name and date of birth
Review physician orders, patient history, medications, allergies, and completed questionnaires
Explain CT procedures clearly and address patient questions or concerns
Position patients appropriately and perform CT scans according to established protocols
Produce, archive, and document diagnostic-quality images within quality control standards
Administer contrast media using proper venipuncture techniques when required
Prepare, label, administer, and document medications used during procedures
Reconcile patient medications to prevent contrast media interactions
Assist physicians with invasive procedures as applicable
Apply radiation-dose reduction techniques while maintaining optimal image quality
Ensure radiation safety for patients, self, and staff, including proper use of dosimeters
Assist coworkers across imaging modalities, including IV starts and patient preparation
Utilize safe patient-handling equipment to reduce injury and fall risk
Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and clinical staff
Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and core values
Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Medical terminology
Isolation and sterile techniques
Patient positioning
CT and radiologic imaging equipment operation
Minimum of 2 years of CT or related radiologic experience
Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT Certification
Active Ohio Radiographer License
BLS (American Heart Association)
