A large, campus-based organization is seeking a Network Systems Analyst to support enterprise network and infrastructure operations in an onsite environment. This role is highly hands-on and will focus on preparing, installing, replacing, and troubleshooting network hardware as part of a major network refresh initiative.
Prepare, replace, repair, and install network switches and routers across a campus environment
Support migration from Cisco networking equipment to Extreme Networks hardware
Rack, stack, configure, and manage network, wireless, security, and cloud infrastructure components
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and configuration-related issues; manage incidents to resolution
Support cloud, network, security, and wireless infrastructure services
Review engineering designs and validate operational procedures
Serve as a liaison between engineering teams and internal stakeholders to ensure service quality
Participate in after-hours maintenance, including scheduled cutovers, patching, and on-call support
Deliver infrastructure service requests (e.g., DNS, DHCP, certificates, VIPs)
Follow IT Service Management (ITSM) practices for ticketing, change management, documentation, and communication
Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and deploy new technologies and services
Perform additional duties as assigned
Strong hands-on experience installing and supporting network switches
Solid understanding of network operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure components
Experience with Cisco routing and switching (CCNA-level knowledge strongly preferred)
Ability to analyze and resolve issues across cloud, network, and security domains
Excellent customer service, communication, and technical documentation skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage tasks in a project-based environment
Experience with Extreme Networks hardware and software (highly desirable)
Exposure to cloud, wireless, and security technologies
New graduates with strong Cisco or Extreme Networks experience will be considered
Bachelor’s or professional degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field preferred
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered
CCNA certification preferred
One day per week may require off-hours work during scheduled network cutovers
Local candidates only due to onsite requirements
This role offers hands-on enterprise network experience in a collaborative IT environment with potential for contract extension
