Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead and manage complex IT initiatives from initiation through closure. This role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of projects by applying best-practice project management methodologies, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and maintaining strong stakeholder communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to established project management standards and methodologies

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (developers, engineers, designers, business analysts, and vendors) to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and delivered

  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and successful delivery

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders and leadership on progress, risks, and dependencies

  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams, stakeholders, and external partners

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members to enable successful task execution

  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements for future initiatives

  • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including vendor engagement, evaluation, and selection


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing IT programs and large-scale projects

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively

  • Experience working with cross-functional and technical teams

  • Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities


Nice to Have

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations

  • Prior involvement in RFP development and vendor selection processes
