Job Location: Fort Worth, Texas
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Special Procedures Technologist to support a busy Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology department. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced procedural environment requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to support both Cath Lab and IR procedures.
Recent Cath Lab and IR experience is required. Candidate must be proficient with C-arm imaging.
Prepare procedure rooms for cardiovascular and interventional examinations
Operate C-arm imaging equipment during Cath Lab and IR procedures
Safely handle and monitor patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes, and other devices
Administer contrast media and medications in accordance with established guidelines
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency drugs, equipment, and response protocols
Process, manipulate, and analyze images for quality and diagnostic accuracy
Troubleshoot image quality issues and adjust techniques or repeat procedures as needed
Support after-hours and on-call procedural coverage
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Recent Cath Lab experience (required)
Interventional Radiology (IR) experience (required)
Proficiency using C-arm imaging systems
Candidates must meet one of the following:
ARRT certification with CMRT (Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist)
