Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Location: New York, NY 10016
Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: $55–$61 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to support an Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Unit within a hospital-based setting in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults experiencing mental illness and demonstrate strong clinical, communication, and care coordination skills in an inpatient environment.
Provide comprehensive social work services to adult inpatient psychiatric patients
Conduct psychosocial assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and therapists
Support patients and families with care coordination, resource linkage, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Uphold ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and professional best practices
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
Active LMSW license issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verification required)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Master Social Worker
Experience working with adults with mental illness
Prior hospital or inpatient psychiatric experience strongly preferred
