Assignment Type: Travel | Long-Term Care
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possibility to Extend)

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: Day Shift

  • Hours: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per week

  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $32 – $44 per hour

  • Local candidates accepted (local pay rate applies within 75 miles)

  • 75-mile radius rule applies for travel classification

Position Overview

A long-term care facility is seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing environment. The LPN will float across units within the same building and support residents with a variety of clinical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care in a long-term care setting

  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

  • Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions

  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

  • Float between units as assigned within the facility

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and state regulations

Patient Population

  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

  • Orthopedic care

  • Dementia and memory care

Facility Details

  • 40-bed unit

  • Floating required across all units within the same building

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): PointClickCare

Requirements

  • Active New York State LPN license

  • Current BLS certification

  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience (LTC preferred)

  • Ability to float between units

  • Reliable attendance for scheduled shifts and weekends
