Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Evening Shift

Job Type: Contract | Local Only (within 20-mile radius)
Shift: Evening Shift – 8 hours
Days per Week: Variable (based on schedule)
Weekly Hours Guarantee: 40 hours
Pay Rate: $32–$35 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. This evening shift role focuses on ensuring resident comfort, safety, and well-being while supporting the nursing team and maintaining facility standards. Only candidates within a 20-mile radius will be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to residents according to care plans and facility policies
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor resident conditions and report changes to supervising staff
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and assessments
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility regulations
Maintain professional and compassionate communication with residents, families, and staff
Required Qualifications:
Licensure & Certifications:
Active LPN license in New York
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in long-term care or nursing home settings preferred
Reliable availability for evening shifts
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
