A modern acute care hospital in Loudoun County, VA is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health to lead day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department. This role oversees staffing, workflow, and clinical operations while partnering with House Supervisors and Charge Nurses to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.

Manage daily operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department
Ensure appropriate staffing through effective collaboration with House Supervisors and Charge Nurses
Support delivery of safe, patient-centered behavioral health services
Promote a culture of safety, compassion, and clinical excellence
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes and departmental goals
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
2+ years of leadership experience as a Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Clinical Team Lead
Leadership experience must be within a Behavioral Health unit in an acute care setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required within 30 days of hire
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) – Required within 30 days of hire
