Job Description:

  • Position is responsible for planning, reviewing, and controlling all activities and functions of the Clinical Solutions department, providing ongoing managerial, technical and motivational leadership while supporting the values and objectives.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills required in a large, complex corporate Information System.
  • The Clinical Solutions Director reports directly to the System Executive of Clinical Solutions.
  • The Clinical Solutions Director applies management and technical skills in line with the values and goals to ensure the efficient, effective and consistent delivery of high quality services.
  • The Clinical Solutions Director is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process by integrating both Behaviors and Operating Principles in all internal and external customer interactions.
  • Performs duties with accountability, competency, innovation, collaboration, compassion and respect to create the best possible outcomes with exceptional customer experiences.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a clinical discipline or related field or equivalent experience

 

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • 10 years of progressive experience managing large, complex corporate information systems and related activities
  • Strong working knowledge of mainframe, midrange, and distributed computing environments, including hardware, operating systems, development tools, and methodologies
  • Advanced application development expertise with strong programming and systems design skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and initiatives
  • Deep technical knowledge with proven ability to solve complex, enterprise-level problems
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing technical teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions

Must Have:

  • Ability support IT Managers and teams by balancing execution with maintaining high team morale.
  • Ability to co-create strategic priorities, define clear and actionable roadmaps, and ensure strong alignment across programs
  • Ability to partner with the business, ISD and vendors.
  • A track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional initiatives
  • A consistently positive, solutions-oriented attitude and mindset
  • Customer Service & Partnership
  • Experience leading teams through change, optimization, and stabilization efforts
  • Experience overseeing the strategy and execution of 1 to many of the following areas: Population Health, Interoperability, Community Benefits, Research, Genomics, Care & Case Management, Outpatient Rehab (SMR), Post-Acute, Advanced Care at Home, and Patient Experience.
  • Experience with Epic or other EHRs
