Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute break included)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Certified Burn Trauma Registrar to support burn registry operations in a remote capacity. This role is responsible for accurate abstraction, coding, and reporting of burn patient data in accordance with American Burn Registry (ABR) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract and submit burn registry data in compliance with American Burn Registry (ABR) requirements

• Review and code burn-related clinical documentation with high accuracy

• Manage a workload of approximately 30–34 patients per week

• Utilize cloud-based registry and reporting software

• Ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely submissions

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Burn Registry reporting and burn coding

• Hands-on experience with American Burn Registry (ABR) standards

• Proficiency with cloud-based software platforms

• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of clinical documentation standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Burn Registry experience

• Active New York State licensure in one of the following (preferred):

  • Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Certified Nurse Specialist (CNS)

  • Physician Assistant (PA)

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)

  • Other relevant clinical discipline
